Childminding

Looking after one or more children for reward on domestic premises (with detailed exclusions, for instance; parents, relatives, foster parents, kinship carers, etc., are not acting as childminders in those roles).

Day care of children

Any supervised non‑domestic premises care for children provided during the day (whether regular or occasional), subject to time‑based minimums and other specific exclusions (for instance, hospital‑based care, certain school‑based activities).
