NHS hospital or clinic:
To raise concerns about an NHS hospital or clinic, refer this to your local NHS board.Â
The Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC):
The NMC regulate nurses in Scotland. They can consider concerns about specific individuals who are registered nurses. You can let them know about your concerns by:
calling the NMC on 020 7637 7181
emailing newreferrals@nmc-uk.org
or you can check if a nurse is registered by searching the NMC Register.
Independent health service or hospice
Healthcare Improvement Scotland regulate independent healthcare services and hospices. To raise a concern about a service visit their website.
