This 2025/26 bumper edition highlights our strong, whole-system organisational commitment to quality improvement across Scotland. Working alongside organisational colleagues, as well as national and local partners, we continue to deliver a right time, right place approach that improves outcomes for people and communities throughout Scotland.

We continue to see strong levels of energy, enthusiasm and commitment from services to engage in quality improvement, providing clear evidence of the sector’s determination to improve outcomes and experiences for people.

Alongside targeted quality improvement programmes, we continue to build the foundations for sustainable change. Through universal interventions, consultancy support and partnership working, we are shaping guidance, strengthening capability and responding to emerging needs across social care from birth to later life.
