Introduction to the Practical Dementia Resource

The Care Inspectorate is inviting anyone working in the care sector, or with lived care experience, to sign up for an upcoming webinar on its Practical Dementia Resources project, taking place on Wednesday 26 August 2026 from 11:00 to 12:00.

Hosted by Maureen Cossar and David Marshall from the Health and Social Care Improvement Team, the session will look at how these new resources were developed, demonstrate how to access and navigate the practical content, and show how to share feedback and personal stories.

Attendees will also hear directly from external speakers and frontline staff as they share lived experiences and discuss the practical value of the toolkit in daily practice.

There will also be an interactive Q&A session.
